The product is also available without ventilators. You can run the CB-AIR with your own ventilators, too. Only provided that the ventilators run perfect and are usable for 12V-action.

Can dorade fans be used for the fitting of the ventilators?
Answer:
Of course you can also use dorade fans for additional air opening or optimally exhaust air opening. The ventilators should only be isolated between fan and the dorade casing. Provided that the ventilators run perfect and are usable for 12V-action. Maximal power consumption of all connected ventilators mustn' t exceed 3,5 A.
Question:
I have a new caravan. Is it already necessary to do something against moisture?
Answer:
Condensed water always forms with the aid of temperature fluctuations, no matter if the material is old or new. The sooner you control the humidity the lesser the probability for formation of foxing, mould and smell.
Question:
Is it enough to have one additional air fan and one exhaust fan even if the ship has several cabins?
Answer:
In this case it would be wise to leave the cabins' doors open or even to fix them in this condition.
In so doing the best measurement results have been gained. Because the air is a gas mixture and is moved by the aid of the two fans the added air spreads through the whole ship.
Question:
Would it be wise to install the system inside a wooden ship or inside a ship with wooden interior?
Answer:
Especially for wood a humidity between 40 % and 60 % is very important to avoid flaws caused by dry air or mould caused by too much moisture - in this case we recommend to install the CB-AIR.
Question:
How long does the equipment work per day?
Answer:
At the beginning the equipment works up to 24 hours until the humidity reaches the normal region. After 1-2 weeks, once the inner climate has stabilised, the duration partly reduces to 1 - 2 hours daily.
Question:
How high is the power consumption of the equipment?
Answer:
The system for buildings BT01/ BT03 lies up to 40 watt per hour depending on the used ventilators. This means about 20 cent power costs within 25 hours.
The system for caravan and boat "CB-AIR" has about 300 mA power input or needs 7 watt per hour by using a power adaptor.
Those data are understood active.
Question:
Does the CB-AIR even work without ventilators?
Answer:
Without the ventilators humidity control isn't possible. The offer without ventilators should give those of our customers, who already have 12 V-ventilators in place, the opportunity to save the costs for the fans which normally belong to the delivery contents.
